The professional title Psychological Psychotherapist was acquired in the Federal Republic of Germany.

The certification was carried out by the State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Care (Landesamt für Soziales, Jugend und Versorgung) of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate with the Medical License Number 6278 (Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Rheinland-Pfalz, Regional Center Neustadt / Pfalz). The responsible association is the State Psychotherapy Association of Rhineland-Palatinate (Landespsychotherapeutenkammer Rheinland-Pfalz).

Valid are the statutes of the State Psychotherapy Association of Rhineland-Palatinate, as well as their professional code of conduct and the health care law of Rhineland-Palatinate (das Heilberufsgesetz Rheinland-Pfalz vom Gesetzblattes des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz).
